Only one member of staff has access to any records entered on the website, unless required to be shared with the team to complete your order, and the same individual processes all orders placed on the website.
As a social media based platform we will also retain data in order to communicate with you via social media platforms if you have engaged with us there.
All data used by us is secured with limited individuals having and access behind password protected systems on which all appropriate efforts are made to ensure your data is kept secure at all times.
Your data will be held for a period of 5 years from last contact with yourselves and then email records, orders and contact details will be deleted or securely disposed of.
Maintaining records of visitations to the website and contact with our customer base is important to us as it allows us to review how our sites are working and in what way, and then to make further adjustments.
Order records also allow us to look at trends and popularity of products over a period of time.

Brixton Mist is happy to provide data requests if you need one and it does not contain information sensitive to another customer or their privacy. We will consider deletion of any data held on your request should it not be vital to order processing and handling.
Should you wish to withdraw consent please contact us via email: info@brixtonmist.com and we will be happy to discuss this with you, please be aware that should consent be withdrawn during an open order or job the job will be cancelled immediately and all funds you have paid or deposited will be deemed non-refundable in their entirety.
Your data can be requested easily and in a simple form should one exist for your individual request and can be generally provided in ultra portable format due to the limited range of personal data we hold, we may request proof of identification on a more detailed request to ensure due care is taken.
Restrictions are in place where data concerning other customers is connected to your own, you may only request data from your own records and any sensitive information relating to another customer or client will not be provided to you.
Whilst we will do everything in our power to assist you in any requests you have and within a 4 week period of the time of your request being lodged, should you feel unhappy with the results you are free to lodge a complaint with the information commissioner’s office.
